The fve-year base contract, with two one-year options, has a total value of more than $260 million. VEOLIA WINS LAS VEGAS CONTRACT The Las Vegas-based Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTC) awarded a paratransit service contract to Veolia Transportation. The new contract is one of the largest paratransit contracts in the U.S. and represents $409 million over 10 years. Veolia will employ 570 staf members, including 449 drivers operating 308 vehicles. Masabi to provide mobile ticketing in N.Y. Masabi was selected by the New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) to provide mobile ticketing for both the Metro-North Railroad and Long Island Rail Road. The MTA will be using Masabi's JustRide platform, a deployment- proven, end-to-end mobile ticketing and fare collection system. The company's mobile ticketing technology will allow riders to buy train tickets using their smartphones, anytime and anywhere, eliminating the need to carry paper tickets.
