Meanwhile, "Celebrating Tommorow's Leaders," will honor APTA and American Public Transportation Foundation's scholar- ship award winners. HOUSTON PLAYS HOST Host agency Metro will showcase its new rail transportation lines and the vi- brant communities they serve. "We're very excited about having a way to showcase the convention center and [our] three new rail lines, [and] how we're [integrating] a bus network into rail expansion," says Lambert. Metro is also conducting an "Arts in Transit" tour, which will showcase its rail expansion program as well as local art in each of the communities that it ex- panded its services to throughout down- town and Northern Houston last De- cember, Lambert says. EXPO LEARNING ZONES At seven learning Zones located throughout the George R. Brown Convention Center, attendees have the opportunity to hear from both industry experts and EXPO exhibitors on an array of topics ranging from the latest in fare collection systems and transit shelters, to mobility management and green solutions.
